Always Learning and Achieving Together

Week beg 30.3.20

Hi King-Smith Class,

I hope that you are all keeping well and happy.  I miss seeing you cheerful faces everyday and laughing with you - I am thinking about you all.

I hope you are all getting a bit more used to being at home with your families. The weather has been great and I hope some of you have managed to get out into the garden or are making the most of your daily exercise.  I know lots of you have dogs like me so I hope that you are enjoying walking them.

Thank you to those who have been on Purple Mash and Times Table Rockstars, it's great that I can see what you have been doing. Your learning tasks for this week are attached below. Remember that cooking, cleaning, building dens, playing and drawing count as learning too. I've had a go at Joe Wicks this morning with the children that I am working with in school which has been great to get some indoor exercise.

I hope you have been reading most days with an adult or to your older or younger brother or sister.

As well as lots of authors reading their children's books for free on Youtube, David Walliams included,

this website :https://www.freechildrenstories.com/age-8-10-1 has a selection on books that are being read aloud for free. Audible have also made 100s of their children's book free during the isolation period so take advantage of this whilst you can.

Also there are: Oxford Owl Free ebooks (Ask your parent to register for a free account and you can choose from lots of different ebooks)

Don't forget your 'Acts of Kindness' - especially important at this time that we are all kind and helpful towards each other.

Have a great week and take care!
