Always Learning and Achieving Together

w/b 11/5/20

Hi Fox Class hope you are all well.

I know it seems a long time since I saw lots of you but I've been thinking of you all and I was lovely to hear all about what you've been up too when I spoke with many of your parents last week.

Phonics and key words: keep going with learning your phonics and key words.  Can you write a sentence for each of the sounds and words you are learning?

Writing: This week we would have been writing instructions for our favourite games.  Can you write a set of instructions for either your favourite game or something to make/cook/do such as baking a cake, making biscuits or even brushing your teeth!

Please use the words :

- First

- Next

- After

And remember that all sentences must have a capital letter, finger spaces and full stops.

Maths  - There is also a separate page for lots of practical maths ideas

This week we would have been revising sequencing and ordering using time including days of the week and months of the year

What day is it today? What day will it be tomorrow? What day was it yesterday?

What usually happens in February? December? What month is your birthday?

This week we would have been sorting and grouping different animals, insects and reptiles in different ways.

Where do all fish live? How do you know what a mamal is? What do all insects have?

Maybe you could go on a bug hunt in your garden or on your daily walk.

I hope you all have a lovely week

Mrs Whitlock
