Religious and World Views Education (RWV)

Religion and Worldviews Education (R&WV) helps children make sense of themselves, other people and the world around them. We believe that everyone has a story: our identity, experiences, relationships, culture and beliefs all help to shape the way we see the world.
Through an enquiry-based curriculum, children encounter a range of religious and non-religious worldviews and explore how beliefs are expressed through stories, traditions, celebrations, communities and everyday life. We want children to understand that diversity exists both between and within worldviews: people who share a religion or worldview do not necessarily believe, practise or experience it in exactly the same way.
R&WV is not about telling children what to believe. Instead, it gives them the knowledge, language and thinking skills to explore different perspectives, ask thoughtful questions and develop their own understanding.
