P.E: 

This term P.E will be on Thursday and Friday afternoons.

Please remember to come to school in the correct P.E kit, this is still an important part of our school uniform policy.

You should wear: Plain black / navy shortsplain white t-shirt,  daps for indoor PE,  trainers for outdoor PEPlain black / navy joggers and a plain black / navy sweatshirt or ‘hoodie’ may be worn for cold weather outdoor PE in the winter. Please remember to pack socks for those who wear tights with their normal school clothes.

 

Home Learning:

Please remember to read at home every night and record this on the Go-Read app or a yellow reading record. 

The home learning will include spellings and a maths task.

This will be set on Google Classroom.

You will need to login with your school email and your password. 

 

Term 1:

This term in Art we will be learning how to paint and weave our own leaves based on a Henri Rousseau painting. In R.E we will be learning about Hinduism and in Science we will be studying plants.

Term 2:

This term in History we will be learning about prehistory, including the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. In R.E we will be learning about festivals such as Diwali and in Science we will be studying rocks and soils.

Term 3:

This term in Geography we will be learning about climate and biomes to answer the question 'Why are jungles so wet and deserts so dry?' In Science we will be learning about forces and magnets and in RE we will be studying why some believers see life as a journey, looking at significant events in a person's life.
