Our class is named after the author Julia Donaldson, who wrote stories such as The Gruffalo, Stick Man, A Squash and a Squeeze and many, many more! Have you read any Julia Donaldson books?

This term we will start with a mini topic learning about winter. Our main topic in Term 3 will be 'Where in the World?', which will focus on finding out about different environments across the world in which real bears live. We will be developing our phonics skills, particularly in writing words and sentences and in maths we will be developing our understanding of number (particularly 5,6,7,8).

PE will be on Mondays this term. Please ensure children come to school in PE kit on this day.
This term our topic is 'Let's Celebrate' where we will be learning about how and why people celebrate special times. We will be learning about birthdays, Bonfire Night, Remembrance Day and Christmas, in particular.
This term the children will be having PE on Mondays and Fridays - children will need to wear PE kit to school on those days.
