Term 3

We have another exciting term of learning ahead in King-Smith Class.

In Writing, we will start the term with 'Stone Age Boy' using it to inspire writing our own portal story. We will be reading 'Pugs of the Frozen North' together as a class. In Maths, our focus will be on multiplication and division before moving on to measuring.  We will also be practising our times-tables regularly, to build fluency and confidence. Our Science topic on Forces will include learning about friction and magnets. In History, we will learn about the Romans. In Art we will be learning about animation and making our own moveable drawings and computer animations.

Please see the attached curriculum map for more details as well as subject-specific knowledge organisers.

P.E will be on a Monday and Thursday.  On Monday we will be learning netball skills, when the weather is dry, we will aim to be outside for this session. On Thursday we will be learning gymnastics.
