Term 5

Welcome back Dahl Class!

This term in English, we will be writing 6 independent pieces of writing, including a recount, stories, non fiction texts and a diary entry. We will link our writing to our history learning about Brunel, our work on Kampong Ayer in Geography as well as using stories to write our own fiction.   

PE

This term we will still have PE on Mondays and Fridays. Please ensure children come in correct PE uniform on these days: 

• Plain black / navy shorts, plain white t-shirt or white t-shirt with school logo
• Daps for indoor PE
• Trainers for outdoor PE
• Plain black / navy joggers and a plain black / navy sweatshirt or ‘hoodie’ may be worn for cold weather outdoor PE in the winter.
• A blue school fleece with logo is also available
• Please remember to pack socks for those who wear tights with their normal school clothes.

  Please do not wear different colours or clothes with other logos.

I will set home learning on Fridays to be submitted via Google Classroom on Wednesdays. You can upload pictures of work, send a short comment or bring in paper work to show me.  Home learning is a way for adultsat home to be actively involved with the children's learning. I  hope the tasks  encourage fun learning together and rich conversations to deepen learning and engagement.
