Term 3

Happy new year and Welcome to Term 3. We have a fascinating term ahead including a whole class art project and display, some terrifying story writing and deepening our understanding of fractions, multiplicatiob and division. We'll be learning al about the Tudors and conducting lots of experiments linked to materials and their properties.

Home learning

This term we are very excited to have re-introduced reading logs across the school to encourage daily reading and reading for pleasure. Reading is key to learning and development across all areas of the curriculum and life in general - we cannot overemphasise the importance of encouraging your children to read regularly  and build a love for reading.   

Home learning will also include logging into TT Rockstars from home, a short maths task and weekly spellings. Paper copies of home learning will be given out on Fridays to be handed in the following Friday. Spellings should be practised in preparation for a weekly spelling test on Fridays. All home learning for Term 3 can be accessed below. 

P.E

This term P.E will be on Mondays and Thursdays.   

You will need to wear:

• Plain black / navy shorts, plain white t-shirt or white t-shirt with school logo
• Trainers for outdoor PE
• Plain black / navy joggers and a plain black / navy sweatshirt or ‘hoodie’ may be worn for cold weather outdoor PE in the winter.
• A blue school fleece with logo is also available.

*Please do not wear different colours or clothes with other logos.*
