Term 4

Welcome to Term 4. After an exciting end to Term 3,  I'm excited to welcome you back to another term of fascinating learning. We'll be engaging with some poetry and spoken word this term; writing and performing our own poems inspired my award winning artist Karl Nova. I can't wait to hear the children's work. In maths we'll be expanding our understanding of fractions, and adding learning of percentages and decimals. In Geography our learning will be focussed around our oceans, RE will have a history focus and we'll be designing and building our own kites in D&T. Please see the curriculum map attached below.

Home learning

Response and engagement with Home Learning in Term 3 was great, well done to everyone who consistently handed in home learning, logged onto TT Rockstars and logged their reading.

In Term 4 Home learning will continue: Children will need to log into TT Rockstars from home, complete a short maths task and weekly spelling tasks. Paper copies of home learning will be given out on Fridays to be handed in the following Friday. All home learning for Term 4 can also be accessed in the link below. 

This term P.E will be on Tuesday and Fridays.   

You will need to wear:

• Plain black / navy shorts, plain white t-shirt or white t-shirt with school logo
• Trainers for outdoor PE
• Plain black / navy joggers and a plain black / navy sweatshirt or ‘hoodie’ may be worn for cold weather outdoor PE in the winter.
• A blue school fleece with logo is also available.

*Please do not wear different colours or clothes with other logos.*
