Term 5

Last term we were blessed with so many outdoor learning opportunties and the weather was on our side! This term is busy, and very short. We will be covering lots of learning with some highlights listed below. 

Things to look forward to in our learning this term: 

• Exploring money with additional play based time to practice our mathematical skills
• Learning what Ancient Egyptians believed happened after death
• Exploring different fruits in French, with the opportunity to taste some 
• Swimming weekly at the Olympiad - a first for Year 3
• And much, much more! 

P.E - change from last term

This term, we have swimming on Tuesday afternoons. Our other P.E session will be on Wednesday afternoons (Tennis). 

Please check messages and emails from Mrs Brandebourg for information about swimming. 

Please make sure you come to school in the correct P.E uniform. 

You will need to wear:

• Plain black / navy shorts, plain white t-shirt or white t-shirt with school logo
• Daps for indoor PE
• Trainers for outdoor PE
• Plain black / navy joggers and a plain black / navy sweatshirt or ‘hoodie’ may be worn for cold weather outdoor PE in the winter.
• A blue school fleece with logo is also available
• Please remember to pack socks for those who wear tights with their normal school clothes.

  Please do not wear different colours or clothes with other logos. 

Home Learning:

All learning will be set on Google Classroom on a Friday and is due on the following Wednesday. 
If anyone is worried about home learning, then please do not hesitate to speak to Miss Coles (class teacher).
